Based on the great success of the care and nursing home « Seniorenresidenz Poetschebiirchen phase I » the expansion of the site called "Seniorenresidenz Poetschebiirchen phase II" was completed at the end of 2016.
On an area of approximately 60 ares, the complex consists of 2 buildings with 22 apartments. These buildings are connected to the existing complex by a covered passageway and allow easy access of the residents to shops such as a supermarket, a hairdresser, a cafe, a bookstore including the service of the post office, as well as a restaurant and its beautiful terrace. The building is located near the school, the new medical center and the pharmacy.
The size of the apartments varies between 73m (one bedroom) and 150m (two bedrooms).
This project as well as all the apartments are arranged according to the Grand Ducal regulation &chapter 5 Infrastructures" of the law of 8 December 1999, in agreement with the ITM (Commodo, Incommodo) and according to the notice on plans of Ministère de la Famille n° 17168/42C of 12 December 2014.
In other words, the corridors and doors are wider than the usual standards, the elevators can accommodate wheelchairs and stretchers and there are no thresholds or impassable obstacles, neither in the individual apartments nor in the common spaces.
Each apartment has its own kitchen, a private balcony or terrace, a cellar and a normal or disabled parking space in the underground parking lot.
The building is built in accordance with the latest energy standards and has a class B performance.
Well-maintained green spaces invite residents to take a walk. Of course, pets are also welcome.
